Well, we've been at our new house almost 2 weeks now and though we may not be very unpacked or organized, we do feel at home here. We love our quiet neighborhood and looking out our window at the big trees. There's something cool about seeing my kids run around our big yard. The boys made good use of the snow with their mighty machines the other day. They didn't even seem to notice that they were so soaked they were dripping. Aidan comments often about ways our new house is different from our old house. He seems to think it is especially interesting that we eat on the same floor that we sleep. The boys have adjusted well to sharing a room which I am very relieved about. Last week, we had a very rough week as we all were quite sick. Jason and I have never been sick at the same time and this sickness wiped us both out. We took turns in bed and taking care of the kids. It's nice to be feeling better this week and to be doing normal things
The kids seem to be growing up so fast right now. Aidan has become such a great kid. His new favorite thing is sitting down with me and playing UNO. He thinks it is absolutely hilarious to make me skip a turn or even if I make him skip a turn. He wants desperately to be independent but not to be which can be a struggle for him and me! He can hardly stand it when Michael does not want to play with him and loves playing with his brother. Michael is also changing. He is thinning out and losing his baby look. I can't believe to be writing that there may be hope in the potty training. I've only been training him a year!! The last couple days he has actually told me a few times when he has to go pee. This is humoungous success for him. His new favorite thing is puzzles. He seriously spends hours doing puzzles and is amazingly good at them. This drives Aidan crazy as it means he is not playing with him! Keira is also growing. I can't believe how tall she is and how much she eats. She loves to cuddle and has a newfound love for books. She would still rather get into trouble than play with toys--climbing up the boy's bunkbed ladder (which she can't get down), opening cupboards and emptying them, climbing on tables, emptying boxes of wipes, using everybody's toothbrush to brush her teeth, playing in the toilet, scratching faces off, etc, etc, etc. I dare not leave her unsupervised!
Anyways, thought I would catch you up the goings on of our kids. Here's some pictures of their cuteness.

Your kids are growing up! I know how you feel about some of the changes...they are hard! But I found out too, that new joys come along to replace the old. You will look back and see how you have enjoyed your children at every age! They are never "boring"...that is for sure! I love that Aidan loves to do things with his MOM...how Michael has that "sticktoitiveness" to finish a puzzle, and Keira is a carefree girl that is interested is so many exciting things...imagine what must be running through her mind! Love your blog...so happy you are "HOME"!! Love you all...hugs and kisses. MOM

What a great post. All the kids look so big and are growing up so fast. That is so cool that Aidan can play Uno and I can't wait to come over and play a game with him! Michael and his puzzles...genious...that's a special gift! Love Keira's personality and determination. It makes me giggle to imagine her mischieviousness! Missing you so much and can't wait to see your new home!
