Snow Days

We had quite the dump of snow this weekend which of course thrilled the kids. Apparently Aidan and Michael woke up Saturday morning, looked outside and started dancing and singing that it was winter. I was away so Jason took the 3 kids to a local park to go sledding. Keira fell asleep lying on her back on top of Michael's legs on the way to the park. Jason said she was adorable all sprawled out, unable to move, fast asleep while it snowed. She then got to experience her first sled ride with Aidan which ended in a face plant at the bottom. The things that happen on Daddy's watch!!! The next day the boys enjoyed playing in Grandma Evelyn's backyard. They made this cute snowman and had fun sliding down the slide into the snow. I have never enjoyed snow in the Lower Mainland especially when it ends in a day like today but kids make the inconveniences of it worthwhile.

Looks like tons of fun! The kids are so cute all bundled in their snow gear. Just be glad you don't have to explain to your three year old how its too cold to go out and play in the snow...temperatures are staying at -16 or lower these days and supposed to go down to -26 wednesday and thursday...brrrr!

Looks like they were having fun! Too bad there's no picture of Keira asleep on her brother's lap. How cute. I guess we don't need one, we can kinda just picture the moment.

Wow! That's a lot of snow! Looks like fun, but it doesn't make me miss the snow. :-)

Wow, that looks like alot more fun than what I got to do in the snow. Shovelling, if you were wondering. Max and Eddie sure loved runnung around chaising each other in it. Anyway, enough about me. Love your kid, I can see them dancing and singing about the snow.
