Rathtrevor 2008

A couple of weeks ago we spent a week camping at Rathtrevor Beach in Parksville. This has been our yearly tradition for the past 4 years and this was the funnest year yet. The kids actually went to bed well and slept well and were all at a good age for the activities available. There was not quite so much running around after the kids which was a nice change. We had so much fun riding bikes, building sandcastles, playing in the water as the tide came in, catching grasshoppers, going for walks, playing in the playground, going for a swim in our clothes, going to the water park, hiking and rock jumping at Englishman River Falls, and roasting lots of marshmallows. My Dad camped with us for a few days which was so fun and both my grandmas, Patrick, Candy and Jamie's Kristin came up for a visit. Although they didn't bring us supper, we still had a great visit (Ha! Ha! Inside joke!) Unfortuneatley, I forgot to take pictures of all our visitors except Patrick.

We had great weather and just a great time being together as a family. I feel so thankful for my amazing husband and 3 gorgeous and hilarious and adventurous children.
