We had a big birthday party the other night for Keira with the Faulkner clan. It was great to be with all our family and celebrate our little girl's first year. Aidan was thrilled to be able to blow out the candle and although Michael was about 3 feet away from the candle, he was thrilled to be blowing it out too. She was slow to get going but enjoyed her cupcake right to the last crumb. She enjoyed opening her presents this time much to her brother's dismay but seemed to like climbing on them even more!
Any day, I think she will start walking. She now stops with her walker and takes her hands off to see how long she can stand there. She then falls down and giggles because she thinks she is so smart. She is such a cutie but a big handful. She is into everything and does not like to be told no at all. She is very stubborn and determined. I now get to deal with 3 children fighting over the same toy! She's also decided that sleeping through the night is much too long to be without her mommy. It's good to be so loved...

Looks like a fun party. She is growing up so fast. I'm pretty sure Keira will walk before Quinn. She looks far more 'crazy' than my timid Quinn. She is so beautiful. I love her smile...it's contagious! Missing you all so much and wish we could fly out and just hang out for a week! Hope you are surviving the busyness of your life these days.
