Our Trip to Calgary

Last night, we got back from a trip out to Calgary to see my sister and her family. We had a plenty of adventures and lots of fun. Our trip their went smoothly except for Aidan getting very motion sick and unexpectedly not being able to get into the place we planned to stay. Thankfully, Aidan puked right near a gas station and my husband is very good at cleaning up after such disasters and we easily found a comfy hotel room in West Bank. We were quite amazed at how well the kids did travelling and figure after 4 years we have finally figured out the secrets of travelling with small children. We had a lot of fun with my sister and her family--going to the zoo, having an Easter egg hunt, lots of trips to the park, movie night, shopping, geocaching and lots of yummy food. The yummy food is primarily because my mom surprised us all and showed up to join us for Easter. This was a huge blessing and we were so thankful to have her their with us.
