A Special Invitation
Tonight we went for a family walk since it was such a beautiful night. Lately, we have been having many very interesting conversations with our boys. At one point, we saw a "very dead" (Michael's words) squirrel and we had a big discussion about whether or not we should touch dead animals. There was also much discussion about dead end roads and what that meant. The thing that made us laugh the most tonight was Aidan's discussion about who he was going to invite to his birthday. Apparently he is going to invite 100 friends. He also told us that he thinks he will invite Jesus to his birthday party. He then immediately started praying, " Dear God, can Jesus please come to my birthday party? Amen".

That is so cute! Sounds like some interesting conversation! Am I invited to Aidan's party?
Kids can say the dardest things...and come up with the greatest ideas! Aidan did not waste any time at all in getting his invitation out! Aaahhh!! The faith of a child. This must be the most anticipated birthday in history!!
What do they exactly teach our kids at SouthRidge Kids. Aaron thinks when he is our age we will be dead, and I said we don't who will be alive or dead. Then Aaron says we should ask Jesus if we will be alive or dead and he should tell us.
