Michael's 2nd Birthday Party
We all had a great time at Michael's birthday party yesterday. We met at the pool for some swimming time. The kids all enjoyed swimming with their favorite people. They especially liked going down the small slide over and over again. Aidan now likes to go down without getting caught and Michael would be equally as daring if he was allowed. We then headed to our house for barbecued hot dogs (bbq'd by daddy in the pouring rain) and cake, a slide show of the previous year of Michael's life and presents. Michael loved all his gifts but for all who know Michael, you would not be surprised that the Bob the Builder hat and talking tool belt were his favorite! Aidan's favorite gift of Michael's is the Diego and boat. Aidan does not want to let that out of his sight to eat or sleep right now. Good thing Michael is so willing to share at the moment. It's hard to believe our little boy is 2. He is growing up too fast for my liking especially since it means getting rid of a well loved soother and some hard core potty training!

Looks like a lot of fun! Wish we could have been there to celebrate with you! You're Elmo cake was amazing and looked very tasty too...great job!
WOW! Now I have seen some great birthday cakes...but that Elmo cake takes the grand prize!! Michael's birthday looks like a fun fun time! I sure missed being there.
Your little boy is growing up, isn't he? You will love every age of him...especially when you look back on the years!
