Cheering for Papa
Yesterday, we went down to UBC to cheer for my dad at the finish line of his 90km ride to raise money for cancer. Aidan and Michael had a lot of fun cheering for the riders as they came across the finish line but were especially excited when their Papa came across. They were sure wishing they could have been riding along with him. Many of you know that he had a stem cell transplant 3 years ago.We were very proud of him for doing this ride. He even got to see Lance Armstrong which was pretty cool. Afterwards, we had some lunch and enjoyed all the free entertainment. The kids got to spend about 1/2 hour in the bouncy castle there which is a long time. Usually they get about 3 minutes. Here's pics of the boys with Dad after he finished the race and Keira enjoying all the excitement.
