Saved the Day!
Today my mother-in-law saved my day. Our house has been up for sale for the last 6 weeks but for the last 3 weeks nobody has come to see the house. This last week I got a little slack in the house cleaning as I was feeling discouraged that we hadn't sold yet and tired of being so clean all the time. My plan was to clean the house this afternoon after I ran some errands, fed the kids lunch and took Aidan to his first day of preschool . This was not to be. As I drove to town at 9:30, I got the dreaded call from our realtor that somebody wanted to see the house at 11:30. I tried for another time but they wanted to come even if the house was messy. PANIC!!!! The realtor had called Jason's Mom too and she called me and dropped everything that she had to do (which was a lot) to come help me clean up. I felt rescued! Together we got the house ready to be shown while the boys watched a show and while Keira was strapped into her high chair. Then I rushed out of the house again, took the kids to lunch at their favorite restaurant and took Aidan to preschool. Thankfully, Aidan's nerves about his new preschool disappeared as soon as we got there and I was able to go home for Michael and Keira's nap. Thanks again to Evelyn for saving my day!

...and they put an offer and bought the house!....
(hoping that is the next post)
I think you are going to go into hibernation once this house sells! Yeah for mother in laws! I'm glad Aidan's preschool went well too.
Oh, my goodness. And we were a part of making that mess yesterday! Thank Evelyn for us, too.
Your mother in law is a gem...dropping everything to help you out! Glad you got the job done...praying now that you will get it sold as well. I am so glad to hear that Aidan liked his new preschool! It does get tiresome having to keep your house spotless! Love you!
