Christmas in Nanaimo

This year we went to Nanaimo for Christmas. We were there for 6 days which was nice because we didn't have to rush and got to see everybody we wanted to see. The first couple days we just took it easy. Jason and Papa took the boys to the best pool ever in Nanaimo and the boys hada blast going down the waterslide and playing on the pirate ship. That was a good day for me too because while Keira slept I read a book and had a nap myself! We spent lots of time playing games and hanging out with family and eating, of course. We went to a beautiful Christmas Eve service and even Aidan managed to sit through the service with very good behaviour. Christmas day was fun especially watching the kids open all their presents. They loved their new fire engine and dump truck but were not too impressed with the clothes. Here are some pics of our time in Nanaimo with the many different friends and family we hung out with.
