Aidan's Abode

Today's special project was making Aidan's room a little more friendly and fun for his quiet times. He hasn't been napping this week so we are working at him staying in his room for some time to himself (so I get a little time to myself). He was very excited about the toys, books and toys we chose but most of all he liked the big easel we dragged out of the back of the storage room. It has a chalkboard on one side a pad of paper on the other. To my surprise and joy, I didn't hear from him for 1 1/4 hours this afternoon. When he came down, he was extremely happy and covered from head to toe in chalk. He had spent that whole time drawing on his chalk board. That was my miracle for today.
